I've been in a very creepy halloween mood lately and haven't been able to pin it down in sketches. I've drawn a nice Autumn sketch (which I managed to misplace ^_^;; ) and My little spirit of Halloween, and of course, My Little Creepies (which I haven't yet introduced on to dA... I'm waiting until they turn in to something more than little sketches...) but I've had a print in my head ever since reading The Last Apprentice Books one and Two(very good, I highly recommend them... at least when you're in a creepy mood). I've really wanted to use the black ink since I haven't been able to before, and I reeeeealy wanted to get that sort of creepy dark-ish vibe. And thus came this. I actually couldn't do the one that I wanted (the dimensions just didn't fit the image...)but I like the way that this came out. Not too fond of the title, but I needed to put something down.
The origional pose is actully inspired by the drum line... I was listening to them practice after school on Wednesday and I looooved the base drums. It got this whole primative heavy dance beat in to my head, and add some dark patterns and ominous swirls, and this is what I got! Yay. Gotta love that creepy stuff... Expect a lot of it soon...
